One small, very autistic detail I noticed going from TOS to TNG is how the emblem on the Uniforms is different between Enterprise crew members, and when they encounter other ships Crews. Like the idea was for each ship to have its own insignia. But then in TNG, everyone has the Enterprise insignia. It's weird.
