They consider any species incapable of nuance to be "subhuman". Any being that says with utmost certainty that 100% of x group/demographic are y because "reasons" is a being that has allowed nuance to die in their minds, and thus, intellect itself has died. And tyranny is the death of nuance, that is why the the biggest tyrannies throughout history always had the dumbest populations - something that the United States is starting to emulate with terrifying accuracy, I might add.
