Out of sheer curiosity, do you think the hash marks in Rising Star Cave where homo naledi was found are definite intentional markings made by them? It seems like people involved want to be overly cautious about labeling them as intentional 'art', but to me it just seems obvious that they'd scratch the walls down there, maybe even as a sort of signature every time they descended to bury someone.
