Absolutely insane they thought neglecting their big money maker, a live service game would have people for some reason continue paying a monthly subscription fee when players can see their money is returning a longer patch cycle between content releases and less content during those patch drops, meanwhile their sub money is being funneled into shit games that flop anyway like Flopspoken and Foamsters to name a couple.

FF14 will be a popular game again and the failure was all completely avoidable.
