Forces being written by the same guy who wrote the 2021 wallpaper cover stories and the 2016 Sonic comics is so weird because of the contrast in quality. He did so nicely on those but then fucked up immensely with a longer story. The localizations made it way worse too, adding shit dialogue on top of the already shit scenario. In Eng it says Sonic was "tortured for months", in JP it says Sonic was "given a hard time". When Infinite says Sonic smells of fear, in Eng Sonic says "That's not fear, I ran all the way over here." In Jp Sonic says "Smell? You're just imagining things, aren't you?"
