i got you, anon. moore decided write that rorschach was against materialism because the comedian didn't "sell out", but then moore doesn't give rorschach a chance to actually change his views about the comedian when he's arguing with spectre about comedian raping someone, when manhattan is literally standing in the room, not telling rorschach that the comedian literally shot a pregnant woman right in front of him.
it's like moore doesn't realize that if manhattan allowed himself to be a tool of war, didn't disarm the nukes, and ozzy didn't try to be president or act sooner, it means rorschach is literally the most principled person in the story, and in fact drives the story from the fucking beginning, which means there's no fucking story without rorschach
