It's interesting that I'm bringing this up, but I had a theory about DIC Movie Toons.

You see, I was theorizing that the DIC Movie Toons were backdoor pilot movies for a couple shows.
>Nickelodeon got the TV airing rights so they can have their own equivalent of Cartoon Network's Big Pick.
>Of the 11 movies produced, 6 of them were backdoor pilots for potential full series. Gadget and the Gadgetinis doesn't count technically as even though Inspector Gadget's Last Case uses the same character designs, Gadget and the Gadgetinis had already completed production when the movie premiered.
>Sabrina: Friends Forever was the only one that got picked up for a full series. That series being Sabrina's Secret Life, which didn't even air on Nick.
The other 5 were: The Archies, which the Jugman movie was meant to kickstart a new Archie cartoon with the same crew as Archie's Weird Mysteries, a Dennis the Menace revival series following Cruise Control, Globehunters, Treasure Island, and Groove Squad.
