GX bros... what happened?

I don’t really get the Zexal hate. It’s like my favorite sided with the original, with 5Ds right behind.
I do agree Part II is better but I enjoyed Part 1 too, though I appreciated the themes in it more after a rewatch. I guess I just didn’t value Yuma’s tenacity in the start compared to later that the revelation is the price of power can cost a person himself
