I decided that this world, I'm going to actually try building things, not just grinders and loot hoards and farms, but really try building things that look cool. So I won't get bogged down in palette choice or resource collection too much, I won't "get to lategame" first, I won't collect 10k of everything and get sick of playing in the meantime, I'll just start building with what I have around me.
Any resource I need, to farm, I make a little build for it. I made a barn for cows and pigs (and now llamas), I'm still gathering haybales to fill the loft from my little wheat patch underground but when I get to it I'm going to make a proper farm and garden with a farmhouse nearby. I made a chicken coop with six chickens trapped in the boxes in the ceiling for endless eggs so the rest can wander between the fenced yard and the coop proper. I made a sugar mill, laid out the paths and irrigation around it, modified and shored up elevation changes with stripped birch log terraces, and now I'm building a boiling house, a storage shed, and maybe a two story cattle pen/workhouse once I get the materials, all on the raised hills the landscape naturally put in the way.
The best thing I could find to represent the three cast iron rollers was stacked cauldrons, but I realized I could actually crush the sugarcane (albeit directly into sugar) and collect it mostly within the existing build footprint, so i did since the rollers weren't going to look that great anyways. You just feed the top barrel and sugar comes out the bottom and gets collected by hoppers through the slabs to the output barrel in the back.

Anyways what I really mean to say is I'm not late-game yet and shulkers are a pain to remember and sort.
