The Golden Age of Precure wasn't only the Golden Age because of production values but also because of the fan content.
Since then many of the old doujin authors have either gone legit, stopped drawing or turned into trend chasers.
Pretty much Inazuma and Haga Yui are the only ones left of the old guard who still draw Precure regularly for comiket.
