>funniest moment?
Isabeau when calling Tayama out for kidnapping children for his School advert. I like to think Tayama was laughing (lmao these Mikado kids don't know school) and sweating (he either already did or was about to) in equal measure. Close second being pic related by absurdity, this is so awkward to me it'd fit in The Room.
>unpopular opinions?
For IV? I don't know really unless saying it's a mixed bag (positive leaning) is a hot take.
>did you like the references to the past games?
I didn't play the original games so I can't say much beyond the Demonicas and I don't think much of them.
>how would you describe smt 4?
Wanting to save full thoughts for when I'm finished and roll credits, compiling my thoughts meanwhile. If I had to go for a tl;dr currently, "comfort SMT". Is it the best thing SMT game ever? No, SJ and VV exist. Is it the worst thing ever? Also no, IVA exists. It has many rough edges but was still a game I had a lot of fun of because it got things well enough that I can just play it and relatively relax. Chaos route was as fun as my first time, even after recognizing the many caveats within.
>favorite aspect of smt 4?
Walter (or maybe just the higher brass of chaos reps here as Lilith/Lucifer both shone too despite the rest of the game trying to paint a dark chaos interpretation), the ost, or how powerful your demons can get without needing to be at end game. Its dumb I'm loading up on Nulls and Pleromas before level 40 but the path to the rainbow demons of bullshit is nice. And yes, Walter is an absolute Chaos-bro, part of my ending headcanon will be acting as his wingman while he's inside Lucifer's mind palace. I know Lucifer said the conscience died in the fusion but considering Walter says a piece at the end of his boss fights in Law/Neutral, I don't think its far-fetched to say they're back-seat gaming more so than anything.
