They call it 'female empowerment' but the 'feminine' notion of power is derived from a very specific playbook of abusing others. The discourse surrounding power has been utterly warped by the incomplete perspectives of power formed by the traumatic victimhood of the oppressed individuals. Oppressed people due to never occupying power have a very juvenile and crass notion of power that involves waving a "magical wand" and getting any wish that you want. Real power comes from a 'masculine' sense of restraint, consideration, duty, jurisprudence, accountability, responsibility, and other virtues. Power is leadership, not domination.
This inevitably places feminists in a tricky position: Do they succumb to internalized misogyny by becoming 'masculine'? Do they 'regress' back to the stability of modernistic motherhood? Do they declare full nihilism and do as they like? There's no real outlets to this ideological vector. It's cathartic rebellion by way of mutually assured stagnation, and it's happening in all the progressive countries of the world.
The solution is to "play fair". Actively lay down fair interactions, honor those fair interactions, establish clear consequences for defiling those interactions. Regardless of relationships, bad strategies are always destructive, where good strategies are not, and the best strategies involve those where everybody wins. Negotiate those best strategies and life with people gets easier in general.
