I'm in an annoying spot because I've got a plot bunny running through my head but it's for a story that's pretty much just for me.

I basically want to write his biography up to the point he gets to New Pegasus and links up with the party, but the fact that the setting is a weird midpoint between games and fic, and the fact that the game he was for is on indefinite hiatus means it's literally just a story for myself which makes dedicating time to it feel like a waste, especially since I'm just generally busy. There's also the small issue that I only have a very vague idea what his march through the Wasteland proper would even look like. Most of the ideas I have for him are early life/life in Canterlot. Between him seeing the moon and getting to New Pegasus is a big question mark.

Also, I'm just now realizing I have no idea how to write melee weapon combat for an earth pony in power armor since they have a helmet... I probably need to brush through the OG again to see if I'm forgetting something.
