Yes but those emails happened before CHYNA and they worship the mane 6 and also loved Applejack more than rainbow dash or Fluttershy. Not many western media can currently compete with Chinese or Japanese media on chinese market. The fact that MLP of all things managed to do so is basically a sign from the heaven for Hasbro. If they scrap Applejack they will get millions of threats from the Chinese fans.
