Easy. You appropriate the visage of true divinity and personify it. SOL is right there with Jesus in every single depiction but never mentioned or cited for it's work, which cannot be objectively or retroactively debunked by something a human being wrote down thousands of years ago...because it was doing said work for eons before any human being had the ability to edit a story or teach a psalm. That's why.
True divinity doesn't look or sound or think or make deals or commit blackmail like a person. That's not godlike. True divinity doesn't rely on the written work or spoken will of mortals to exist. It doesn't ask for penis tips in exchange for miracles given freely.
Personified paganism and atheism is worse, but you're just larping. And you dont have to. That's the biggest thing for me. Real divinity is right there, you dont NEED to make up a character to make yourself feel better about SOL.
