Agreed, I think ER shouldn't have tried to balance weapons because all felt the same, I want some tools to engage with the combat as exploration aspect in a different way, not a +5% damage and that's it, I want weird shit like shields that make certain goes cower or glowing swords that dispel ascertain type of projectiles.
The whole invisible Assassins unless you have the torch that reveals them was great to make you think and switch to a different needed tool.
