Long story short: Shadowverse 2 is rig'd to astronomical levels. From events to every deck, card and match mechanic. Nothing is organic ever. Your only intervention as a player are,
>micro card slot changes in the archetype you're playing
>mulligan (also rig'd)
>rare missplay (can throw your a system win)
>gamble tactic/play (praying the system didn't determinate you'll lose)
Also, as you can see face dragon isn't dead at all, I'm leaving this game for good after this. A functional deck will put you into the game's rig'd system. Sword (bs turn 4, 5, 6n7etc), Haven (bs turn 6n7etc), Rune(bs turn 5, 6n7etc), Blood (bs curve and turn 4, 5, 6n8 etc), Portal (bs turn 5 etc) and Roach are utter bullshits and all deadly as face dragon is as well. This game don't care about balance, it cares about their planned system running itself which includes the meta as well with little regards to anything else.
