they pretend they have a list of people they'll blackmail, but the one they're blackmailing "doesn't die", and they're holdign his gf/bff hostage, while at the same time, pretending they're going to do something, but never do anything, except (apparently) try to kill, "this guy who never dies".
its all theatre, but the only ones that keep breaking and showing their cards and exposing themselves are them. left, right, center, they've all exposed themselves over and over again, but instead of just giving up, they double down and try another narrative, another venue, another set of characters, another face, name and location.
never realizing, they were exposed, there's no gold at the end of their rainbow, no elysium, nothing for them.
they're stuck in here forever, without escape, without hope, without a future.
