• Ari Ben-Menashe: Eitan’s understudy, Ben-Menashe was a key operator in the PROMIS scheme and the U.S.-Israel arms-to-Iran network during the Iran-Iraq War. He later claimed he was targeted for exposing PROMIS’s theft, arrested in 1989 for trying to sell C-130 planes to Iran (acquitted in 1990, as he was acting for Israel).
