You should have showed them EverQuest - they would have made cute(for the time) avatars. at least in way UO didn't let them do at the time unless they were already into exceedingly nerdy stuff like MUD/MUSH or played previous Ultima games. I also need to make it clear that finding a girl who played AD&D or much less PC vidya in that day was practically a unicorn. I was surprised as hell to find a gothy girl playing pic related.
