Is there even a reason to get THAT mad about it being live service? Shit, to the average player not concerned with a greater narrative it's basically just shifting objectives and randomized conditions with the occasional extra new content thrown in. It's not like Fortnite constantly shoveling shit down your throat like you have ADHD and expecting you to buy fifty new cosmetics to be hip.
