All this talk about hello kitty reminded me of the extremely bizarre American cartoon from the 80s based on it that was just an excuse for retellings of public domain stories.

I was shocked to learn how old that was and that it was an American cartoon of all things.


This would be like finding out that in the 70s Hanna-Barbera made a Sonic cartoon.
