yeah it's poetic how the current frontline is pretty similar to the old Polish frontier
but makes sense since back then it was an empty steppe that was only populated in the 19th century (correct me if I'm wrong)
a few years ago scientists were complaining about the steppe being choked out of existence by agriculture guess what, the war helped restore the natural habitat
nothing against ukraine btw
