to anyone wondering this is an ancient greek punishment called “the boats” - described in Plutarch’s Life of Atarxerxes, they’d give some poor fucker enough milk and honey to give him the shits, tie him between two logs or boats with his extremities exposed and those would also be smeared with honey
they’d find a nice cypress swamp and let the guy float there until he was eaten alive by bugs and other critters
