Akira thinks the powers are hers by right and doesn't really distinguish between day job, luminary, and real life. Shes pretty much always in costume and always causing trouble. She takes her journalism very seriously and will nearly anything in pursuit of a story. Often invading privacy without a second thought.

Customers, and the source of the most exciting news when combined with corporations. She carefully balances articles that excite the corporations with articles that excite the luminarys - for every article that might reveal useful information about a luminarys secret identity she also releases an article about corporate secret plans. Leading to quite the dedicated fanbase both directly in the form of luminarys and subsecquently in the form of stolen issues by the corporations trying to learn about their enemy.
She's just as likely to work for or against other luminarys for whatever will be the most interesting and acts as a sort of information broker and black market for those who aren't above contacting her. She provides some unique services - Weapons you can never be disarmed of or caught with even while out of uniform being especially popular. Very creative uses of her powers.
