>think this is someone recreating Pokemon assets in Gmod
>it's actually just editing the Gmod UI into PLZA
What's funny is that this isn't even a "haha Switch bad" thing since I played Wonder and the MP remaster on a borrowed Switch Lite and both games looked infinitely better and more consistently better because both knew the limitations and quirks of the system and worked around that like devs are supposed to do.

>spec-limited handhelds with no RAM and no storage limit a game made by a C-tier company, causing them to have to hamfist a few roadblocks here and there
>despite the limitations, most dungeons/caves are whole-ass sprawling environments with multiple floors and with some secrets to find
vs
>that same company suddenly gaining 100x the specs and doing jack shit with it, leading to several games in a row where there's some half-assed open world slapped into worlds where the biggest dungeons/caves are like 3 hallways and an exit
Still maddening the only decent Pokemon game on either Switch is LGPE, and that's held back by the Pokemon Go shit slapped in to cash in on a trend.
PLA's okay.

For me, 5 was fine, didn't play 6, and 7 was solid despite the tiny map (and piss-easy difficulty with every trainer having like 1 Pokemon). It's really just the Switch games that ended up being irredeemably ass.
People meme about "oh no stop whining abotu the dexscut lol" but it really was shocking that the same gen that cut the dex ended up having some of the most cut content in general, AND having the worst performance, fewest animations, one of the worst gen gimmicks, the emptiest map, the smallest dungeons/caves, one of the worst regional dexes, the highest price and having overpriced DLC
Gen 9 was far less awful than 8, but that's not much of a hurdle.
The moldier this franchise gets, the more I realize that the main reason normalfags even buy them is for the sovlful starter intros each game gets.
