They made it to Worlds End and stole enough food on the way to sustain them for long enough to get more so I'll end this here for now. My conclusion if you already know what you are doing it is not much harder to escape Rebirth but it is more lethal any slave that get mauled by a dog will likely bleed out before any help arrives especially at night, just remember dogs are not instantly hostile to escaped slaves wearing locked shackles
