So what's the deal with Materia, the Gi being able to access it, the Lifestream being sentient, Cosmo Canyon, the ambiguity surrounding measurements of spirits energy, alien lifeforms existing outside of the Lifestream, and so on.
Yeah the Lifestream can be equated to the Sun, but the reality is the Sun exists in Gaia's Solar System, and life in general can be produced without the Lifestream's ambiguous "blessing" that seems to have more negative connotations than positives, especially considering how it seems to have contradictory motivations programmed into its hivemind to suit the shitty crybaby anime swordsman plot.
