Let me preface this by saying I'm a 1 (cybertruck owner, muskrat through and through):
SpaceX is not a space "exploration" company, let alone a space program. it's a space-based isp, com satellite manufacturer, and launch services provider. Where anywhere do they explore space? What interplanetary orbiters or probes have they built and operated? What lunar expeditions have they spearheaded? They won't get out of bed unless there's a NASA contract for it, and then happily reneg on their obligations (dragon xl, falcon heavy extended fairing, falcon vertical launch integration facility, HLS, etc etc). They even pitched Starship for the CLD program and lost, so now Starship station is dead. It's frankly embarrassing that SpaceX hasn't done anything fun since the FH demo with the roadster to Mars orbit*

It's tiresome
