She is a gladiator and used the moveset during the coop gladiatorial fights. Fighting TDs is a minor aspect of her character, since all her focus is on the arena, and at that point it only makes sense that she uses the techniques that she practiced all her life. It wouldn't make sense she had a gameplay focused on killing TDs at all just because that's what you'll fight most of the time on the non canon gameplay part of the game.
