In colonial America, agriculture was practiced by 90% of the population. By 1910 there were 6.4 million farms and something like 40% of the population were farmers. Now it's 1%. This was a deliberate change induced by economic masters to industrialize our workforce and it's almost certainly the main factor in the decreased fertility rate. This can applied to every single nation in the planet where, as you move people from the country into the big cities, they breed less, become sicker (spending more on the, at the time, brand new medical industry), and spend WAY more fucking money on consoomer toys, fake plastic junk food, Freud-Bernays propaganda entertainment AKA they become autistic utopia mice. All of the problems in the world today can be traced back to the GLOBAL conspiracy to end small personal farms and move to cities. Yes, global. What do you think the Russian Revolution was about? Get the peasants out of the farms and into the cities. Same thing in China, same thing has been happening in India and Africa, the whole fucking world.

How many failures occured due to government intervention, taxation, regulation and bureaucracy? Remove the obstacles and barriers, remove the entire need to make money or have a job or make profits, and you can't fail unless natural disaster strikes. In the old world, neighbors and churches would help out in that case.

>The average persons lifestyle
was forcibly changed in the great migration into the cities, and that lifestyle can change again when they're migrated into the countryside.

You're so full of shit. Humans were wonderful, friendly people when all they had for a shower was a bucket, when all their entertainment were psalms and hymns by the fire.
>creature comforts
Humans are adaptable, and what is intolerable for one is heavenly for another.
