When Boomers say it was "muh vidya gaymz" they arent wrong. Its not because video games make you violent like most people try to assert, its because some people over indulge in video games and retard their mental, social, emotional, and physical health. Its not video games per se, its the degradation and disintegration of our society, our turn away from organized Christianity and focus on family and community. Its social media, its TV shows, its video games, its tablets, its cell phones, its the fact that both parents have to work to make ends meet, its a lot of stuff that people are using as distractions instead of interacting with other human beings and becoming functional adults.
I watched the video of Tyler reading his scholarship award letter to his family and I was shocked. This kid is a straight A student, full ride scholarship, but he cant even stand up straight, look at the camera, and read his award letter in unbroken sentences that can be heard. He has terrible posture, cant look at the camera, mumbles, its embarrassing to watch.
Its not just about going to church on Sundays and doing your homework, and going through the motions, its about growing as a human being, developing human relationships, and integrating into society and parents are letting too many kids slip through the cracks.
Too many kids are being allowed to go down paths in life that doesnt lead to them partnering with someone from the opposite sex and starting a family at a young age. And when society fails to graduate enough young males and females into happy and healthy families society degrades into what we have now which is the majority of society being either turbo sluts, or increasingly violent and hopeless males.
