You don’t understand Merz correctly.
By "welfare reform" he means to raise taxes on millennials and zoomers so boomers can continue their luxurious lifestyle as they retire.
In Germany:
> Boomers inherited the best economy one can have
> Got all good jobs with live long employment and strong unions
> Basically no education needed
> Were able to buy big houses for cheap
> Were able to comfortably start families on one income
> Enjoyed a generous social safety net before it was turned into H4
While for millennials and zoomers it is:
> You have to be much better educated than boomers with a degree at the minimum
> What you don’t have 10 years experience?
> Crisis is the norm
> Infrastructure neglected by boomers needs huge investments
> Housing scarce and expensive due to boomers importing 3rd world workers to pay their pension
> Everything expensive
> Society falling apart
> High taxes
And now, Merz wants to raise taxes on inheritance to pay their pension.
This means you wont even inherit much once our fucking boomer parents finally die.
