Its the player id thing as the likely culprit. The other plugins weren't taken down, and itd be easy for them to C&D the likes of penumbra or even dalmud to take the whole thing down but they didn't. They went after playerscope and mare. And what they share is using account ids for stalking reasons.

Here's a Funfact actually. One you can verify by reading the mare discord. Mare didnt actually need player ids to work. The dev made it that way to intentionally track people. I dont know if anyone remembers BUT there was huge drama related to this over a year ago. Its how they do the census as well. For some reason he was intentionally collecting people's data when he didnt have to but no one did anything because he owned mare.
