The original cut of the movie featured a fabulously flamboyant and aggressively queer gender bending character named Lord Dragula voiced by Ru Paul who was going to sodomize Elio then adopt him into a mind blowing intergalactic queer lifestyle; but the focus group Chuds didn't like it so now Elio ends up going back to his dull house frau mother at the end of the film.
