To be fair Yor was holding back and fighting defensively until Hemlock said he was going to kill her family, at which point she went berserk. And even then he still had the sword, which gave him a lot of reach, which she couldn’t easily counter.

Yor’s deadly at close range with her stilettos and in hand to hand combat, but struggles with opponents that can keep her at bay (as we saw with the swordsman on the ship.) But if she has her stilettos, she can still pull out a win.
