This is fucking demeaning. They used to be allowed to work on 25-EPISODE SEASONS back in the day. Now everyone has to get laid off after just working on 20 episodes at a time and then beg for another 20 that'll then be split into two separate "seasons."
Great revival but it also paints a clear picture as to just how much worse executives are treating cartoons now, from the increasingly shorter seasons to the abandonment of hand-drawn animation.
