But in terms of the characters you picked:
Maxie - Good burn DoT DPS, but needs pretty high investment to show it.
Kanon - Great tanking and damage overall, good beginner pick. Only for single target DPS though, but that's always relevant.

If you want her, I'd just get one copy - again, you have a total of 1000 rolls after this campaign is finished, you will get at least everyone you want once.
I'm a Fatal fan and dumped all my resources into her, but I would not suggest getting her or highly investing in her first, unless you just play for waifu or don't mind a little struggle. Needs very high investment atm, and is still replaceable on a lot of teams even after that. The high cooldown on her Ultimate and marginal benefits from S1 and S2 make it hard to build around her.
