Good, Stories are connected and there is character progression. The start might be rough but its worth it. Side stories and event stories also support the main story. The current translation for the summer event now is absolutely garbage though due to VAgames having no proper translation team. (Smilegate did all the translations) I dont recommend reading it until its fixed.

It's just standard multiverse stuff. Different versions of characters, various what if scenarios, things like that. Don't worry about it because the main story with K is pretty consistent and self-contained in its canon.

Basically the worldline right now (main story) is being steered to be the first wordline to make it to the . Heavy spoiler -> Its basically Monad Eva trying to find his K. As no K survives if there is no Eva and vice versa. they are always and must be paired together.

People looking for official dev word or backlog probably shouldnt be seeing here that is free for all. Anonymity without postid means you could be communicating with the same person or malicious actor puppeting and you don't know if the reply was even read. Its a double edge sword where some post really whatever because of anonymity. No filter means terrible images could be spammed once they receive word.

The old message board forums requiring account login were probably the better inbetween option for conversation flow that made genuine users identifiable that were easily viewable for user debate. Hello newbro!
Healers in the game tend to be mostly only for healing. They are great at their job, which is healing, but most of the time the goal is not to survive, but deal damage the fastest.

But here comes MEva (wife), who heals while attacking and making an ally attack, automatically (!) removes crucial debuffs that make your team not being able to act, and can grant IMMORTALITY for a short while. May not bring the best heals, but trust me that, for example, being able to avoid being frozen and immediately protecting the whole party from being one-shot is great.

Add to that, once you hit 5*, her main skill makes 2 other team members attack. Combine that with them being absurdly strong and well...
She's quite literally an all-in-one and fits basically any team. Very comfy to use, so a very, very easy recommendation for any new player.

But do know that this game is very friendly and you can't really brick yourself. Have fun!

Maybe not as much, can't really say for myself as I only tried to force using Yuri.
But generally - it may take you more time and using resources you could, well, have more worth using on stronger characters, but for the most part Story and Events can be beaten with any teams. Other content, like Special Bosses, are much harder and you have to strategize well, but partaking them and getting *some* benefit from them is still achievable.

So at least try to aim to make sensible teams with good roles, read what the characters can do and try to combine their skills to benefit each other. Skill books are a bit of a pain to get, but over time you should get enough. It is quite a bonsai game for the most part

My response is that if you nerf both Normal/Hard mode of Season 1 story, that defeats most of the point of an available Hard mode (yes I am aware of the nuances). The point of the impact of shortened stages on chain building and buffing leading to increased difficulty was ignored, but I am not forcing an answer, ignoring that point in the answer is also an answer. Personally, I dislike how K is now being presented as a Kirito that can solo everything without challenge through this change. Forced story unit battles also used to mean something, but with the Quirk system they just steamroll the battles. Season 1 hasn't been respected for awhile now.

As for commentary on other PVE aspects, I did not like the World Boss fights at all other than their spectacle. The damage K did was tied to unit star levels, favoring older players with bigger rosters made before the mileage change. Combat Score of the units was also factored into his damage, which was critically flawed and maybe still is, whereby maxing too much of a specific stat will give you less of a Combat Score. As a hypothetical illustration, 50,000 HP, 30,000 ATK, 50% Crit Rate, 75% Crit Damage, 200 Speed would give you an average Combat Score. But if you followed the arbitrary Combat Scoring system, something like 70,000 HP, 25,000 ATK, 25% Crit Rate, 200% Crit Damage and 190 Speed would give you a higher Combat Score. I think I get the true reason why I dislike the Season 1 changes. It's because you have rehashed the plot like a Star Wars movie. The story has become too corporate and the gang aren't as entertaining. The Season 1 story was a selling point of the game and original, and its been turned into something soulless.

In Season 1, you beat the Evil Woman at the cost of Evas and Lishas sacrifice. K decides to try things differently, and is willing to pull more people towards his side, like iirc Eliza. This shift in state leads to Evil Womans downfall, as people are not willing to sacrifice themselves for her sake. Sound familiar?

In Season 2 Part 1, you venture into the land of Sacreed where the sect is looking into using scientific inheritance for good. The Evil Woman appears, but is pushed back because the lead believes in something else. I don't actually remember much, it was ok, most of all Sterope proving how bull headed and determined she was, making her a formidable opponent. The theme of beliefs and believing yourself is somewhat conveyed.

In Season 2 Part 2, K's backstory is tackled with the irregulars, dragon energy is discussed, and new elements like fusing with androids occurs. New enemy types are introduced. The story somewhat ties up with all the demiurges properly, and the gang is entertaining. Ore wa Gundam.

Then comes Season 3s conclusion. Again, you bring Eliza to your side. This shift in state leads to Evil Womans downfall, as demons are not willing to sacrifice themselves for her sake. Huhge. Iota, Kappa, Maxie and Roxie are the entertaining ones, but they were best in their non serious adventures.

Needs very high investment atm, and is still replaceable on a lot of teams even after that. The high cooldown on her Ultimate and marginal benefits from S1 and S2 make it hard to build around her.

It depends where you are in your progression. When I had just started, two correct substats was enough, because the alternative was no gear at all, or 5* gear, or 6* greens. Now, I measure gear by number of correct pips. Under 15 total pips when fully reinforced is worse than what I have now so there's no point in even starting if there's less than 3 correct substats with 3 pips each, or the more likely scenario, 4 correct substats but missing 3 total pips, like 3-3-2-1. There's no one right answer, anything with the possibility of becoming substantially better than what you already have is worth it.

Now that week 2 is in I made the projection for the Demiurge Contract event. You can actually fully 6* her from zero if you buy ether which is great. Compared to last time you get 2x from missions (5->10) and 5x from ether (3->15) which is very good.
There is some uncertainty still due to when exactly does it end (says before maintenance on 10/23), if check-in ends at day 21, and if week 3 will award same rewards as week 2.
Conclusions so far:
From zero/3* you can safely 6* her (900 pieces) by buying with ether for 20-21 days.
If you got hit by the arena bug in day 1 (-4 pieces) then you need to buy 21-22 days.
For people that already had the hero (extra 150 pieces) or missed some days, check the table and calculate accordingly.
Total ether cost for 20 days is 6000, not bad at all for a maxed Demiurge.

This is reasonable, my main point however mainly covers not only Summer Ember but all slow heroes/builds as a whole. Basically the faster you are, the more turns you take up, the more you get to show off on screen. This leads to slower heroes not being as aesthetically pleasing regardless of their meta value. Like for example, someone who is savvy on what I mentioned might not buy as many defender costumes as they would rangers, etc etc.

In my opinion the easiest way to counter this is to do what you did with Nella/Meva/etc, where the passive triggers and such would show a proper animation. If you can extend this to something like counter attacks (maybe only critical hits or something) then the visual value of a slow counter set defender would still have some decent showings. This is one of the reasons I think G Dahlia is such a well rounded hero, because when she counters she has a high chance of entering an animation and showing off.

That’s fair though 4* is actually huge because of 50% crit damage. I only say this because of how many times I almost killed but failed to kill. Revenge seems possible but I’ll have to test a bit given how crucial swiftness is on counter cleave as well, though my revenge set lags far behind my speed thanks to that juicy speed set the devs gave out for ether awhile back.

No point having shard farm for breadwinners, at most just have something worth the 20 shards given by upgrading something of very high value, but not high enough value that centers the game around it. I think a good example could be replacing it with a ticket that allows you an additional entry of the custom crafting on the right of the base. So instead of 20 useless shards for every premium/limited we get a free weapon/accessory craft. Since this only affects limited/premium and only once per character, it should not break the game by any means nor result in significant profit losses

Taking suggestions? Let’s see how they react to this then. Outerplane already skirts around copyright shamelessly (and I love it) so maybe try copying gimmicks of the isekai genre, whether it be for events or even core features.

For example, want (You) to be a true harem protagonist and have a reinforcing premise than just Monad Gate? Look no further than the isekai Chat Group gimmick, or the isekai Diary gimmick (I don’t recommend this one until many years later because this game isn’t FGO with years of content to play prophet). This works with this game because

1. Surely it will get repetitive if every new waifu joins the Monad Gate
2. People will be disappointed if their waifu isn’t the main girl of the Monad arc and basically get left in the dust
3. As proven partially by Horizon Walker/Nikke/etc traditional chat group allows you to interweave all range all sorts of memorable dialogue and give life to characters in a reasonably efficient manner.
4. Isekai chat groups have the advantage of bringing together multiverse/timelines and having characters react to their own spoilers/changing their fates is one of the easiest gimmicks to entertainment whether it’s something emotional like saving someone who was gonna die or bringing overpowered firepower to the tutorial natives giving them a shock, it just plain works.

(First of all, I apologize for being quiet lately Korea’s long holidays
and the transfer process have kept me quite busy…)

This new illustration was originally created for marketing purposes.
Personally, I have mixed feelings satisfaction and regret both coexist.
Still, I wanted to share it with you all and promise to do even better next time.
(We’re even considering hiring a dedicated Pixiv illustrator in the future!)

- Post-Transfer Status

Since the service transfer from Smilegate, many of the initial confusions have finally settled.
However, there are still various issues left — minor bugs, missing features, and system adjustments.

Today, we held another marathon meeting to review multiple topics:

>PvP rebalancing
>Equipment sales and pricing balance
>Costume coupon revisions
>UI/UX improvement
>New equipment dungeon

Our internal discussions are always a tug-of-war between my personal desire to make rapid visible changes and VA’s careful focus on service stability and gameplay balance.
We’ve organized which parts can be addressed immediately, which need time, and which are simply unrealistic right now.

The road ahead is long, but we’ll continue to make steady, tangible progress
enough that you can truly feel the change in the game.

>Speed Mode
Many of you(myself included) have long wished for this feature.
However, after reviewing with the developers, it’s currently not possible due to engine-level constraints.
There are too many risks such as damage miscalculations or disconnections mid-battle.

That said, I personally believe we could test it under a “beta opt-in” system for players who agree to the risks.
We’ll keep exploring this idea.

>PvE Difficulty Rebalancing

We are currently reviewing the overall PvE difficulty curve and gimmick balance.
Our data and feedback show that new players often feel more frustration than motivation when facing certain gimmicks.

As such, we plan to make Normal Story mode more straightforward and power-level oriented,
while Hard and Very Hard modes will continue to provide meaningful challenge and rewards for veteran players.

Ultimately, I believe having three distinct difficulty tiers is essential:

Normal: Accessible and smooth for everyone

Hard: Strategy-based and rewarding for experienced players

Ultra Hardcore: A brutal but satisfying endgame challenge

We’ll continue discussing how to make these modes both rewarding and fun.

Somebody needs to tell them to post pictures and the video on the same day the costume goes on sale, not 14 days later with 7 days remaining.
They also need to post the video on Youtube, maybe with a much better presentation like with the new hero previews, and make a notice with both the picture(s) and video on their own website too, just like when it operated on Stove.
Still to this moment Monad Eva's swimsuit has no actual announcement, picture or video anywhere, and it's more or less hidden in the Step-Up thing.

Since we’re currently developing the large-scale Season 4 PvE story mode, our development resources need to be allocated as efficiently as possible.

That’s why I plan to take bold steps and conduct various tests in PvP and the in-game shop.
One thing is certain — during the first year after the transfer, our priority will not be profit,
but rather attracting new players and retaining existing ones through new experiences.

We plan to revamp old, unpopular packages with more appealing pricing,
place high-efficiency items in higher-priced packs,
and focus on reducing PvP fatigue while introducing new ranked battle systems that make competition more enjoyable.

However, since character level expansion is right around the corner,
we are still being cautious about expanding the gear system.
Personally, I’d love to introduce Diablo-style unique gear —
high-efficiency equipment with variable options.
But if we ever implement it, it will be with the goal of making character growth more accessible and convenient,
not simply as a revenue driver.

That said, as we saw with some of the feedback around EVA costume,
I’m aware that even well-intentioned updates can sometimes cause discomfort among players,

The Danmachi collab might've made more money if they made Hestia into her own unit; she and Ais were the only ones with real star power and the latter was made free (looking back, maybe Ryu should've been the freebie).
Anyways, they were kinda right not to go too hard on the collab. At the end of the day, gacha collabs are just luxuries, really-glorified filler events that are usually footnotes in a gacha's history rather than make-or-break moments. (You don't hear people saying "X collab saved our game!" and definitely not for long periods of time)
