I don't hate the Catholics and Orthodox. I just think they're wrong. The problem is that they each claim utter exclusivity to the title of "Christ's one true church" when that simply isn't true for either of them. The church as described by Christ was referring to St. Peters confession, not a particular hierarchy. The one holy universal apostolic church that Christ founded is comprised of the entire body of good and faithful followers of Christ, not a particular worldly hierarchy. Apostolic succession is all well and good, but it's worthless if the pure gospel is not being taught.
