You need somewhere to put it on, or a place to site, because it isn't a handheld. You probably also brought a mouse with you, unless you like those awful track pad things. You also literally had to carry a backpack or messenger bag for it, versus a Maid Computer which just goes in your apron when not in use. It has actual mobility instead of relative mobility compared to even older, more deprecated form factors (desktops).
Laptops are low mobility at best. Maid Computers are the better solution. In addition to actually being mobile, if you do want to be stationary with a desk and multiple monitors or something, you can dock them the same way you'd dock a laptop. It isnt 2006 anymore. Laptops are obsolete.
