I agree. I listened to one or two of his debates. He just debated people. Typical young conservative, a little smug and annoying, little I agree with, but not deserving of his demonization by some and certainly not deserving of being murdered in public, in full view of his family. The few people I’ve listened to who were more or less celebrating or laughing about it claimed he spread violence and hate speech but I can’t find a single incidence of this. It just seems to be the usual stance of ‘opposing speech is tantamount to violence’ which is a deeply disturbing concept.
