>The Scadutree was made by Marika herself
Nope
>per the DLC Story Trailer's dialogue from Leda recounting what Miquella had learned.
You don't understand Elden Ring or that trailer
>The crossed tree doesn't even match the Scadutree
Yes it does
>which has one entirely straight trunk and another that winds around it.
This is false
>That shield doesn't relate to the Sun Realm either
Yes it does, and is sold by a merchant that has other items related to the DLC
>Look at the trees in Enir-Ilim itself you bozo. They have light-gold leaves and people agonizingly fused with the wood.
None of which were created by the Hornsent. I guess you are too stupid to understand that, so I'll spell it out for you then. The Hornsent are not responsible for Enir-Ilim.
The Hornsent created the settlement under it and the Gate of Divinity, and the game shows a massive technological gap between the crude Gate of Divinity and the artistry with which Enir-Ilim was created.
Enir-Ilim, all the people embedded in it and all the trees were made long before the Hornsent, by the Sun Realm/fallen Civilization of Rauh
The Hornsent simply settled in the ruins of a more advanced civilization.
You can directly tell the stark difference between the two structures, and that Enir-Ilim did not have the Gate of Divinity until Marika told them to create it with what appear in the trailer as freshly slain bodies
>The Falx Hornsent couldn't give two shits about the Scadutree
Which I again proved to be confirmation. The Hornsent aren't particularly attached to the Crossed Tree. But realized their betrayal seeing their misshapen tree. The Crossed Tree was turned into the Scadutree and that affected them. The Lamenter pathband the torment of the Hornsent derives from it. I never implied they worshipped the tree itself, but It did represent their betrayal
