Remember that news a month or two ago from Apple about AI that made Google dump?
What a funny turn of events. Everything is completely retarded.
But the real news here, is you have Apple, a company that LIVES by taking interesting existing shit others have made and turn it into gold.
Yet, with AI, they can't. When even Apple doesn't know how to make profit on AI, you just know how bad things really are.
Not saying AI doesn't have an use case. It does, and will do in the coming years. But it currently simply can't be monetized at the costs and CAPEX AI requires.
When the first domino falls, and it might be Coreweave with its borderline 2008-tier business model, or Cursor, or SoftBank that's actually not investing as promised because they simply can't or don't want (and when has Softbank ever made good calls), it won't look good for the companies that burned gazillions.
Apple unironically will be the one that will be left unscathed by not being retarded and simply looking at the numbers: it can't be profitable. Not right now, nor in a decade.
