I honestly can't think of anything good the Compilation or Remake actually adds, besides more fanservice and party interactions. It's all fluff, retcons, retardation and bizarre shit that feels like everybody, including the original writers, just gained schizophrenia trying to capitalize on the original's popularity but missed every single reason as to what made it what it was.
