Honestly, many of the gacha designs are nicer than many of the Engage designs. Similar to Goldmary or Chloe, I think characters like Eir or Gunnthra could fit into most if not any FE game. Heck, the Book 9 girls can also fit anywhere, as long as you don't bring those dumb mecha wings.
Like half of Engage's cast looks more "gacha" than the gacha characters often do. And even the "most gacha-esque" ones are Book 4, 6, 7, and 8, which were all gods and demigods anyways.
