You never hear this in gaming news sites because they're paid off by publishers, but for the past several years EA's been trying to hit numbers like these. Even their sports games have seen a massive reduction in sales, it doesn't look good when they go into their shareholders meetings and their investors constantly bring up Nintendo's success despite the reduced budgets and single platform for release. These people really believe that if Mario Kart can hit 70 million on the Switch then Battlefield should easily clear 100 million across three platforms.
