How many different human factions are there? I always just interpreted 40k as Space marines and Imperials vs Orks, Green niggas, evil space marines, and generic 'holy'? aliens.

Is the Imperium made up of smaller factions of unique groups or some shit. Still no excuse for the rarded designs. I would rather just use the hull without the turret, it is dead weight and a shot magnet.
