Being a black (or half-black) person is really awkward. If I want to travel anywhere outside of Africa I have to consider that people may see me as a violent criminal just because of how I look, even though I have no criminal record and never fought anyone before.

It's either hatred or fetish-y adoration, I really don't like it but I can't escape.
