I work, even have valuable employable skills.

I think I spent the most money on Gura and Ina memberships. I just like what they do and want to support that. Gura is autistically good at singing, and Ina is a genius artist. I stopped sending money after they got big though (started watching in 2020), and I haven't really spent any more on chubas except to send troll sc.
I think it's kinda sad that the meta evolved to suckering whales with gfe and dick sucking ASMR, reminds me of fleshtubers in hot tubs honestly.
I have definitely been parasocial a few times. It's natural since they (on the surface) share my interests, which so few women I meet do. Most of that is on me for not going outside enough anyway.

But I never expected the extreme mental illness this hobby has attracted. Like I know there was that one guy that set fire to that twitch thot's car, but that was a hot tub flesh streamer. Which is to say, the illness is probably a result of the degradation of idol culture in favor of making easy money without self sacrifice.
Not to say that idol culture is perfect. But there are certain accepted norms which probably helped to curb the crazy.
Even penguinz has crazy Florida man threatening to shoot him.
